“As questions about ignorance grow worldwide, research on the subject is growing too, yet it remains scattered across disciplines and borders. BIIS was founded as an international, open think tank and platform: a home for aligning this scattered work across the field of ignorance studies, worldwide. Here, for the first time, the field’s central questions can be raised in one place, guided by humanity and ethics as both our method and our goal. We invite all who are drawn to this field, from every discipline and branch of knowledge, academic and independent researchers alike, to join us.”
